I am having trouble making playlists and the instructions on the Fiio forums aren't terribly helpful. Could someone please just post an example of a working playlist for the x5iii? Or just open a playlist they have that works in notepad and paste the first few lines into a post here? I just want to see what the paths are supposed to look like.

The fiio forums say that the root drive paths are: /mnt/external_sd1 and /mnt/external_sd1

But does that mean the pathing should look like:

/mnt/external_sd1:ARTIST\ALBUM\FILE.FLAC

or

/mnt/external_sd1\ARTIST\ALBUM\FILE.FLAC

or

/mnt/external_sd1ARTIST\ALBUM\FILE.FLAC

or

[Drive letter of some sort]:/mnt/external_sd1\ARTIST\ALBUM\FILE.FLAC

or something entirely different?

The possibilities are endless, yet the Fiio instructions are so vague it's impossible to tell.

So, when it arrives, just update to 1.1.1 not 1.1.2 ?? Or has a new one come out?

Tried to upgrade to 1.1.2. Downloaded onto Windows box, copied to root of internal storage, local update, everything going well through 4x of 5x, and then:

"MCU Ugrade'

'MCU upgrade failed!'

Now just spinning.

What to do? Shut down and retry? Wait.....? Other?

Please kindly reboot it , and "MCU upgrade failed "will be fixed in our next new firmware.

it is /mnt/external_sd1/ARTIST/ALBUM/FILE.FLAC , and we did add a sample into our instruction.
