I just picked up a pair of these, brand new, unused, for the princely sum of £15.
 
I intend on gifting them to my wife.
 
Reviews seem to be fairly terrible, but I note there is much Bose-bashing online.

I have a pair. They have great comfort, good isolation for an on-ear, and a very bassy sound. They fold up very nicely for travel in the provided case. Negatives? The bassy sound doesn't provide a great deal of detail. The cable connection is oddly designed with a kind of dongle hanging from the driver. However, this design does allow for cable replacement which may have been the first Bose headphone to do so. Pretty good score for the price you paid, in my opinion.
