Nice of you to join us, Joe!

@Shanling, can you please ask the software engineers to consider this in an upcoming FW update?

This will be in next FW, thanks for your suggestion. It is already realized on M2/M5 latest version.

When browsing artist or albums or any other long menu.  There should be a setting to change the left up and down (track buttons) to skip 10 or 20 at a time or even hold down to scroll quickly.

Who could we contact to suggest his a firmware update?

For me there is a little UI change, that could do wonders in the M1 or M2, in Album view the option to view on the left of the album name, the album art, or to navigate only by album art;

I have a huge problem to memorize album names :p

Hi @Shanling will you guys add a delete track option in the Now Playing screen after long-pressing the wheel? I miss that feature from my Fiio. It will make it a lot easier to tidy up my collection when I'm outside listening.

Also can people advise based on their use of the M1 is it better to run high gain at around volume 20-35 or low gain at around 40-60? I know the theoretical answer is to stick to low gain and max the volume, but wondering whether in real life with the M1 what works out better in terms of sound quality etc. Can't hear much difference for now.

Thanks!

On a side note/request now that I am free of itunes what is a good piece of software for ripping CD's to use with the M1?

Do people usually edit what's on their microSD cards by plugging the M1 into the computer or taking the card out? I'm just trying to work out what adopters I need for my memory card slot deficient laptop and wonder if the transfer speeds are acceptable with the unit directly connected?

I eject the card and use a USB 3 adapter. Makes working with files on the card much, much faster!

Hi guys!
I'm looking for a new player and this seems to be one of the best for it's price!
As a standalone player how does this one compare with the Fiio X3-II or the Hidizs AP60?
I'll use it for listening to my MP3s and Flacs, to use as a USB DAC on my PC and to stream Spotify from my phone (Lumia 950).

I've got the M1 and AP60 and definitely prefer the M1. Soundwise there's no a huge difference to my ears except for the bass roll off on the AP60 which is easily noticeable when doing direct comparison.

I prefer the button lay out and the way the M1 is operated by quite a large margin.

Just my 2c :)

You didn't answer how the m1 is compared to the Fiio X3 II. I'm curious about this comparison too. Do you know?
