I would like to know if Sony provided a USB to micro USB cable to connect the A35 to a Mojo and use it as a transport  when you buy the A35 or I have to find a custom cable for it? If so, do you have any recommendation for a cable? Thanks!!

If anyone's interested I have a Walkman port to microUSB cable for sale.
Confirmed working for the various Sony Walkmans and the Chord Mojo.

A35 seems to have reached Amazon.de for pre-order. Price is 199 euros at the moment.

Nice.

Still no sign of it on uk store though.  Wonder if the non headphone version will be eu volume locked (not that it matters now)?

The lowest price on ebay I saw was 215 USD w/shipping. I got mine locally for an equivalent price. I chose the red model. After an initial listening, it's being burned in right now.

What is the maximum voltage out of the headphone socket? From the specs I found some where, it works out to be 0.75V( calculating from power of 35mW@16ohms).

0.75V is too low. Can't drive high impedance headphones. Is this the volume cap that everyone is talking about?

Anyone knows a better place to buy the Walkman instead of AJ?

You can buy from Jaben Malaysia. Here you go :

No it is not. 35mW on 16 ohm is the non-capped output of A30 series Walkman's.

It may drive high impedance headphones to a relative loudness level, but it will not reveal the headphones' potential as you may expect. This is due to a very simple reason that WM1A and WM1Z with their balanced outputs were designed for high impedance cans, not A35.
A30 series Walkman's are for easy to drive headphones.
