I think we need to get a deadpan drumroll gif going on this thread.

I was on the road yesterday and being Christmas almost everything was closed. We found a Dunk'in Donuts that was open, got a latte, it was awful. Just got home, time for the real deal.

I wasn't a huge fan of their coffee. Last time I had it it was practically water. Their americano wasn't terrible though.

That's because it's watered down coffee. Yesterday I was given a $15 Starbucks gift card which I just converted to a bag of Café Verona Beans. Tastes good.

Im not sure I've ever even had their coffee, but I know that DD coffee is a brand quite a few people are crazy over.

Im still trying to figure out the sweet spot for my DIY roasting. First attempt went too dark and got a little smokey, second attempt wasn't quite long enough (stopped just before second crack). Im thinking juuuuust past the second crack should be the sweet spot.

Once you perfect your roast the subscribers to this thread are expecting samples. One pound bags will suffice.

Curse gift cards! $40 worth of pizza will last awhile...but it's so greasy and messes up my organs. (At least it's gourmet. One of them is chicken alfredo!) Add day old Mountain Dew to the mix and I feel worse than I started off. (Whereas with better food and new soda, I feel great.)

They told me it would give me lower jitter in my system, but it just made me more jittery!
