I usually test any headphones, earbuds and iems with the binaural test from this page

just tested this with the nokia hs-45 and the knocking seems to come from over my shoulder, not bad, if only it had a better cable

just for reference, I was using them with full foams and a 75ohm adapter on my smsl m3 dac, without the extra ohms the soundstage isn't as wide but still outside the ear

Anw using silver cables dont u find them a tad too bright? IMO stock is already on the bright side.

According to the modder whom I bought this from, they actually used the drivers from the first version of the TY 32 (the ones with straight plugs) which are said to be really bassy, so they used spc cables to balance it out.

I find the sig very v-shaped, even more so than my Edimun V3 Rho.

Here's how my TY 32 looks like by the way:

Like I said in another thread, if you have bad luck getting a pair, I may just have to ship you a pair. Just need to find out shipping charges? I would think you would already know about them from your Indonesian Facebook threads. They are everywhere. The only thing though is notice the little "s" above the Cubu name? Some have that and some don't. Also I stopped counting after 9 colors. They come in a lot of colors.

Not as detailed as say the Edifier H180. Simply put the Edifier H180 has a more expensive sound, still the Cubu's are totally fun. I like them way better than the MrZ Tings!

Just a little message to let those not on Earbuds Anonymous FB group ( shameless plug for sir Miner's group  ) - HE150 earbud is made by the same talented guy that's behind TY Hi-Z, ColaRad, HE brand too (stands for Hi-Fi End) and since recently, also SeaHF. Just to take away some doubts

So is anyang the bug guy himself.? I can't find any conclusion reading a couple of post in Earbud anonymous

I'm thinking it's actually aggressive way of the factory to multiply sales. It's not a bad thing though. they're establishing their presence internationally. I print shirt myself in a small scale and many of my friends doing sub business with me. they all have their client and I'm just a printer. same concept I guess. I control the production and quality according to their design and requirements. I keep my cost and marketing headache at minimum and all have profits. At the same time I also produce some original for mass market.

I hope more info emerges.

If every headphone has a different sound signature and is equally in high quality (not dollar store sound). I guess multiple brands is a good idea, if one can pull that off. It's not easy. I'm surprised how young he is. North Americans at that age in general can't pull that off.

Does anyone here use a budget earbud without a pre-amp that goes well with the Sansa e280 mp3 player (or any Sansa e200 series player I guess)? My budget earbuds all sound fine on the phone/PC but they sound quite muffled on the e280. It does have Rockbox installed and I've played around with the settings a bit but haven't got anywhere, I think it just needs good earbuds with impedance below 32.
