FWIW, for my taste, Hi-Z HP32 2.0 > HP32

HP32 with thin foams
HP32 2.0 with multi holed thick foams
HP32S, I wish I can tell you guys on Christmas, same for Qian25

Hello,

I have two monks plus. Unfortunately yesterday I damaged the cable of one of them who sounded the best by the way.
I want to mod this one and replace the cable by a red cable .

I know there's some moders here so could anyone can help me sourcing a red cable  please ?

I did a HPM-62 but that bud is really garbage. So I took it off and put it on a Koss KTXPRO1... I have one more I bought from them I was gonna put on a Monk Plus, but then VE released their own mic Monks. So now it's lying around

I've got to say I'm both pleased and disappointed by the E808+
1. The fit is really good for me. Those seem to be one of the first Earbuds I would be able to wear for a longer time without them hurting my ears.
2. The sound seems to be similar but inferior to the Monk+ in every way.

Really excited for the TY Hi-Z 32 and Qian39 now

If you are disappointed by the complete lack of midrange, you will be happy with the TY and Qian.

The E808+ is a lot of fun but you have to accept it as it is, which is completely lacking mids.

Anybody got their she3800 failed on one side of the driver? Mines seems to sound off on the left side. Not sure what cause it. I loaned it to a friend and he's not so sure what happened either. I tried to blow into it and the sound changes but still sound not balance.

TY HP32 2.0 VS HP32s

After a few days of burn-in, here we go.

For my ears, IMHO, YMMV, etc, etc.

For reminder, I use HP32 2.0 with mult-holed thick foams cause they lack body in lower midrange.
So first I put these foams on HP32s to try if they sound the same.
Same sound sig overall but they have less impact in bass but sound better in treble area, slightly hot for me.

The logical thing for me to do next is to put thick foams on it and Jackpot!
The bass impact is back, treble is tamed down a little bit.

But at this point, you may wonder why you would pay more for this red "Beats" version.
Well, the sound is slightly more refined in every way, in nuance/texture, control/cleanness, clarity, extension, particularly in higher midrange/treble.
All these little "slightly" result in a more confortable listening session

Well, HP32s is now my favorite for on-the-go use earbuds, HP32 2.0 for backup

I might slow down on buying cheap earbuds from now on...
But what comes today? A pair of Qian25 blue L plug, I like the metal box. Hop to burn-in machine!
Okaaayy, this is the last pair I buy..

If you mean the TY Hi-Z HP32 then I prefer it to the Monk+. But I think the Qian39 is better than both of them...
