Hey all,

I'm looking for some advice on my headphone purchase. One of the most important thins mfor me is the noise cancellation. I work in a very crouwded place and need to be able to focus with as little noise from surroundings as possible. Headphones will be connected to my pc so ultra-exotic models aren't necessary I think because I'm limited by the quality of my soundcard.
That being said I am still willing to make an investment to a decent product. My budget would be $200 - $400.
Any recomendations?
All pointers will be very much appreciated

Would you consider in-ears? Any time isolation and low power is needed, I recommend in-ears.

My Aria stretches your budget with the one-time-only Head-Fi discount I'm running through the 4th of July. (Coupon HEAD-FI at checkout for 20% off) That said, it performs waaay above its retail price.

Deep controlled subbass, forward mids, and a touch of top end sparkle to really bring out those microdetails. Best of all, it runs really well off a budget dac/amp like the Schiit Fulla, so no need to dump big cash on an amp. OH yeah, and they are all made with exotic hardwoods by myself.

Here's a few examples of the Buckeye burl:
