Time has come to get back in the game. My ue5c are going back for repair. I no longer have my westone es2 or es5, oreven my ue-11pro. It is time for me to buy a new set of customs. Over the past few years I have been making due with my ue5c till they went out a few months ago then got a pair of sennheiser hd439s. Made a trade for a pair of westone w4 to give to a friend and was listening to them for the past couple days and really miss great sounding iems. And now my dilemma.

Towards the end of my ue11pro I felt the bass overshadowed everything else. I loved the impact and frequency range, but there were not enough kids and high sparkle. The w4 sounded amazing, but I want more. Just don't feel they reached quite as low as the ue11 did. From what I remember the es5 were pretty amazing. So I am trying to decide between the westone es60 and jh16. Unfortunately there is no way to try them out. The ue18 was a contender in till lately when dealing with UE. One minute they promise one thing then the next they change their mind. The company sure has changed and I plan on doing a full article on that later. I am sure they will be thrilled with it when I do. I have been a long time Ulitimate ears and Logitech supporter, but now I think the company could care less about its customers, but I digress. So what say you guys. I know it seems like not a lot out there have tried the new westone line.
