My best guess would be that the K3003 are worshipped over in china because of their bright clear ways.
I'd say they put kill k3003 so that it's in the title for the search on Taobao and stuff. Searching for an iem on Taobao isn't easy
cos theres so many of them. So DIY makers put K3003 so that more people will find their product.

Note that I don't have the dolphins anymore, it was a loaner. Dolphin is overall quite a airy sounding iem but lacking bass for most music.

A4 has greater genre bandwidth, its more even top to bottom and not bass anemic like the dolphins. Honestly, I would rate the LZ A4 higher as its tuning system is very well thought out and makes a huge difference. But the core tuning is fantastic. I am honestly in love with the sound of the LZ A4, its one of THE best iems I have heard in this price range, and even beyond. I would happily buy it at its MSRP and be happy with it as my main IEM.

Which makes me happy because the A3 and A2S was lacking in a number of areas. Really good to see them knock the A4 out of the PARK!

How is A4 compared to 4 in 1 or shure846(bass)

The A4 absolutely destroys the 4in1 for overall sound imo. Bass is better, sub-bass with red filters is so good and mids are fuller and have more warmth and treble is packed with detail without any harshness. Soundstage on A4 is bigger too.

Yep, 4in1 is great as a stepping stone into hybrids...killer for the price, but tiers apart between A4 and 4in1.

From what I've read, I need to save some $bills for the A4... :)

Yes, the reviews will be coming in now after 2 weeks with a few guys including myself.

LZ really has evolved the line, intelligent design and I hope he can crack a much bigger market. I've owned every one barring A2S. I really like to see the small boutique designers do well.

Can anyone compare a4 to the banned iem or shockwave 3?

Pretty impossible to post any detailed comparison to the first one since they're not allowed to talk about but very short the A4 has more forward midrange, overall a fuller sound and a smoother top end. Everything else would depend on the filters used on the A4.

I am mostly looking for that holographic 3d soundstage taht everyone is bragging about. But sw3 fatiguingness scares me a bit. Even though i am not a fan of warm vocals, atr vocals bore me to death. Its the most boring iem i have, my pistons smash them in vocals with a bit less soundstage.

At first i hated my 4in1 due to shouty vocals and harsh treble. But now its my best iem.

The perfect balance in vocals are that of tyhiz 32, its thick full and sharp with echo but not pericing or shouty. Makes music and ost more exciting. I also like treble but not too hot like 4in1 and i like bass more the better.

The thing in most 200$ dollar is that they will provide me my signature and upgrade in all areas but not the next level soundstage and holographicness that everybody brags about.

Thats why i am looking towards the a4, i can configure it to please me with my desired signature and when my preference change i can change them again. But will it provide me with the next level of soundstage?

Also a question about a4, can the filter change the vocals signature like make it sharp and bit bright or warmer, what about treble, can it increases and decrease detail and hotness?
