I recently received the Nuforce NE800M IEMs from Mass Drop. When they are fully plugged into my Meridian Explorer or Geek Pulse DAC, the sound is faint and distant with a sucked out midrange. I noticed that the jack has 4 connections to it. When I partially remove the jack, allowing only 3 connections, it plays normally. I'm amazed this issue has not been discussed. Do these IEMs work normally with other equipment?
