i would say oriolus is more technical and the response is better. One thing that Sirius won me over is its engaging midrange

Sorry - still a little new to all the audio terminology. what do you mean by more technical and better response? I do find that the Oriolus has a slight dip in the volume of the midrange, though it does give an illusion of a wide soundstage IMO.

it has better details retrieval and a quicker response. Oriolus mids are not as prominent as Sirius imho

The bass on the Oriolus is phenomenal - it might at times take prominence over it's midrange - but that's not to say it bleeds into the mids. It's just so visceral in it's delivery that one might just focus on it instead.

Cheers, thanks for the responses guys. Have been trying tons of IEMs in the Oriolus price range (AAW W300, 64Audio U5, EarSonics Velvet, etc) recently to see if there's anything even more to my liking, so this is very helpful.

I have the W500, it's somewhat similar to the Oriolus (Both are hybrids), but i think the Oriolus has more clarity in the midrange and highs. It is close though, but i would give it to the Oriolus by a hair by being slightly more revolving.

Hi guys, I recently got the vibro labs Aria universal. I think it sounds quality, i pair it with my mojo and stream tidal.

Does anyone have any experience with the mojo and surius?

Anybody able to compare the Aria to the Sirius? Would it be considered an upgrade? If so in what ways?

I listen to rock and hip hop with the ysual pop chart music thrown in on occasion.

I could literally ring up and order a pair from hifiheadphones right now if I want. I just need some feedback on what I have to the benefit I would receive, cheers!

sirius has wider soundstage than aria. aria upper mids has better extension and is more aggressive.

How do vocals compare? Cheers

sirius has a more intimate yet wide feel while aria has the more aggressive vocals. aria does well for male vocals while sirius for female vocals.

oh right, hmmm alot of my music is male orientated with the rick and hip hop. Sirius an upgrade or a side grade you think overall? I love the Aria, im really happy with the price I paid and the sound quality it pumps out.

Basically, I was pretty much set on the Andromeda. Then this come about and from reading here it seems like a fantastic IEM.

The other outsider choice is the Zeus R. A massive price difference mind.

Basically im looking for an upgrade that justifies the expense on top of what I have in the Aria. I want two IEM's that deliver great sound, my next purchase being a stunning sound quality experience.

The Sirius looks awesome, well done to all you Sirius owners!

[/quotethat's the thing, the engaging midrange description has my attention. I don't know if Aria would be described as midrange engaging or zeus R...

You guys must be loving the sirius!

sirius has a more addictive midrange imo. aria and zeus are technically better though and compromise on musicality
