Evening all

Sorry if this has been done to death, I've been searching on here for similar threads to help me solve my conundrum but none quite hit the mark. So I'm looking for recommendations for a new pair of either on-ear or over-ear headphones (not in-ear) basis the following:

- I listen predominantly to classical (symphony and opera) and jazz (circa 50's / 60's). I do listen to a bit of rock / electronica, but clasical and jazz is whaty I focus on

- The headphones will almost exclusively be used for commuting / out and about, and attached to my Sony Z3+ phone. They will not be plugged into a home system.

- I'd really rather avoid carrying an amp around with me if I can at all help it, so I guess impedence needs to be on the low side.

- I can spend up to ~£250, £300 if it's really really worth it, but the less expensive the better really, so ideas below £200 are welcome!

I've had a play with some B&W P5s and P7s, which sound very good for the music I'm listening to. I've also tried Momentums which I'm not very impressed with v the B&W, and I've tried some Master & Dynamic HC30 which felt a bit too brash and bassy.

Please let me know your thoughts and ideas, I value all input, and sorry again if this is a rehash of an old theme!
