ive been on this insane and miserable and exhausting quest to find my headphones for many months now and ive wasted so much money on crap i cant even use because of comfort and sharp harsh sound hurting issues and im feeling so depressed and exhausted - basically at this point im thinking that over ear headphones arent for me cus i am sensitive to them and their clamp - and then i looked for on ear headphones, but it seems like besides the vmoda m100s, which i see online are pretty uncomfortable, the only other options for on ear are random sonys and beats and "senteys" on amazon....
i did see a few people here mention IEMs, so i figure as a last ditch effort before i go back to my speakers, i wanna take a chance with a pair of iems....though when i think of iems, i think of apple and psp and various white ear buds that i tried back in highschool to look cool, while the whole time thinking how much it hurt like hell and how i could not wait for my bus stop to come so i could hurry up and take the damn things off!!! but hoping maybe some good audiophile iems will be more comfy and more comfy than headphones? also i have a problem where my ears get very waxy and crusty, like i can hydrogen peroxide them in the morning, and then by evening they are crusty again - but whatever, when god wants u to be miserable, ur going be miserable and even though i know that i should just stop this madness right now, i cant and im just gonna keep going in circles and buying crap until i die - but i am going to check out 1 set of iems and if it doesnt work out im callling it quits.
so basically want an iem that is audiophile approved and has a good soundstage (do they make open back iems?) and is warm sounding. cus also i wear glasses and i think thats a factor in my headphone problems...thinking budget maybe under 100$
