Saw these recently,thought they looked interesting. Are these suppose to be upgrade models over the current HD5xx or a completely different closed back/semi open line?

Can't find any info on Sennheiser HD-XXX headphones.

They're the HD630VB. I don't know if these are new or old but I just recently saw them. Any opinions?

The HD630 is a very bassy headphone that's very ruggedly built and able to take a beating. The variable bass function is pretty cool and fun to play with however I feel it best suited in a household with multiple users for I feel once owners fund the level of bass they want I rarely foresee them adjusting it. Also the comfort was ok but not as much as I was hoping it'd be. 
 
It also has a really helpful feature for mobile use that allows it to be able to use the microphone, volume AND trasck control for EITHER IOS OR ANDROID!!!!!!! However a downside it it has no replaceable cables. My full review can be found here is you'd like my complete thoughts.
