I'm trying to decide between a Aune T1 and Xduoo TA-01. I listen to mainly classical and soundtrack on my HD580's. I read that the Aune has better clarity for classical but will the Xduoo's extra output power give me more bass for soundtrack listening?

Please don't consider Aune T1 as headphone amplifier. Aune T1 is a good DAC but it's amplifier part just for "checking mark". Aune T1 amplifier board costs 4$ as spare part (you can find out this information in Aune T1 thread). Aune T1 is pretty good as DAC for it's cost. I don't think that xDuoo TA-01 have good amplifier part also (no really good references  with good headphones at all). So you may consider Aune T1 as DAC and something else as amplifier. I hope it make sense.

Thanks, It's just that I'm on a budget of $100. Just was wanting to know if the TA-01 would have better "power" to adequately drive my HD580's

Do you need only headphone amplifier for this budget or DAC also?
Do you have experience with soldering?
