Nothing a bit of glue couldn't fix, thankfully!
Anyway I remember a few months back when I first heard the ESW9s... I'd JUST gotten some Beyer T51s to replace my Moda M100s, and some ATH-MSR7s for the office. I decided to give the ESW9 a chance anyway and I was blown away.
They've been my #1 for a while now, but I figured, a few reviews mention them being less than idea for heavier styles, which is what I mostly listen to these times. Now I don't find them lacking in that department; but I interpret these reviews as saying there could be something even BETTER out there. Mostly to listen to MP3s straight out of an MP3 player. Other phones I use are the MRS7s (for work, too big and open to be portable), M50s (too bulky for portable), HD25s (not comfortable enough after 30 minutes) and T51s (listened to them for one hour total before the ESW9s dethroned them thoroughly... maybe they're the answer actually!).
So there. What's comparable to the ESW9s, maybe even a little of an upgrade? The ONLY thing I find lacking on those are that they feel rather flimsy; but again, it doesn't mean there's nothing better out there, at least until I hear it.
Thanks!
