Hi All,

I've been very happy the past few years owning a PFE-232 IEM with custom molds.
But, sadly, the right side broke down, Audeo appeared to be bankrupt in The Netherlands and after having found contact with a Audeo representative in the US they told me they could replace it for me. After weeks of shipping time and after arrival they told me: sorry, we just found out the product is discontinued and no longer in stock. Whaaaaa! Why not check that first?!?

Anyway, that means i have to find a replacement.
IEM's that are custom made/only available in the US/Canada are not preferred, because of the above reason. So it has to be available in the EU.

What i like about the PFE-232 is the balance of detail, musicality and smoothness.
The lows had tight and warm bass. Deep, natural and controlled, and in a natural way extended to the midrange. I don't like too much/added mid-bass. The mids neutral and a bit recessed and slightly veiled. The highs were smooth and not sibilant at all.
This combination made them very easy listening. Maybe not the most neutral headphone, but fun, forgiving and musical while still keeping a lot of detail.

I hate sibilant headphones and was the main reason i sold my Shure SE-535's.
My new headphone could preferably be a bit more forward in de mid area compared to the 232's, but not overly so, like with the SE535's.

Currently my first choice currently is Custom Art Music One or Two. They seem to match my preference after reading many of the reviews on theheadphonelist.com.
Anyone has any suggestions worth exploring? They can be UIEM's as well.

Thanks in advance :)
