These V2 of the 4,5,6 came very surprising I must say as they just came out only with the Samba.

treoo now officially selling the v2 versions of the Jomo 4 and 5. Both come with a 300 Dollar price hike though....

"The new Jomo4 V2 features an updated tuning with improved high frequency response, addressing what many felt was lacking in the original 4.
Whereas the Jomo5 V2 is redesigned from the ground up with all new driver configuration. Now with dual bass drivers, dual mid drivers & single high frequency driver, the new Jomo 5 V2 now packs deep & powerful bass response without sacrificing mids or highs, it is now quite a different beast from the original Jomo 5."

Have never heard the version 2 to comment about the price hike but I am kinda disappointed on the price hike for the original version since one of the reason that I went to Jomo for my very first BA iem was the decent pricing that they offer.....

Just tried the samba paired with the effect audio leonidas using my qp1r just now.

First impressions are that it has really nice deep bass that as far as I heard did not distort with my usual bass distortion test track that most BA bass iems fail at. It is an impact full and weighty bass that reaches very low and is even audible at very low levels.

Treble wise, the treble sounds quite linear except for a peak that gives it a crispness and brightness.

The mids to me sounded quite natural however they were pushed back and had an ever so slight veil.

Staging was pretty good. Wide and expansive and airy yet still full, making it sound natural instead of sounding distant.

Mind sharing what you use for the bass distortion test track? Just tried the Jomo 2 and 3 but found the 2 had a more balanced, coherent and enjoyable signature for the demo :)

I listen to a lot of rap and it will tend to have a lot of bass. The test track is Madonna by Drake. The production quality is questionable but at around 2 min or so the bass gets really low and loud. Usually around this time, I can audibly hear the driver making a weird clicking noise in time with the bass kicks
