I have seen complaints on various headphones that despite the circumaural label they don't fit the ears properly, that they lack depth, or other such that have to do with dimensions.

Those amongst you that have shopped on-line for marital (or single life) aides already know that the come with specific dimensions for every category of its design. Is there any chance that the professional reviewers here start doing the same with cup dimensions? With criteria such as: From the top of the pad to the bottom on the outer part, and from the inner part. The same thing for the side to side measurements, depth, and anything else you might suggest.

This would solve such issues as with the Sennheiser HD202 which are described by many as supra-aural (brand included) and many others as circumaural. It would eliminate the vagueness of things like "If you have big ears these aren't for you" (how big is "big"?).

Just a musing/rant that I thought this was a good platform for.
