edit. i'm willing to spend a little bit more (150e) as I never bought any expensive headphone and I dont want to buy a so-so headphone and have to buy a better one in some months as I will be using them a lot.

original text.

Hello everybody, I just moved to a new city and I will be commuting at least for an hour everyday, I would like a recommendation for a BLUETOOTH headphone (less wires more hapiness)

First of all, from what I've read, the apt-x codec makes a difference in the audio quality (I want it to be wireless but I wouldn't like if it would lose too much audio quality).

Regarding what kind of sound I am looking for, I would like to have a good bass (I have a Sennheiser HD201 at home and the bass is there but is quite disapointing), as I listen to a lot of house music, hip hop. I will use it also at university so noise isolation and comfort is important. My head is not big so it is easier to find a comfortable headphone.

Maybe I am demanding too much for this pricetag (up to 100 euros/dollars), so my order of priority is:
On ear or over ear (doesnt matter)
MUST: bluetooth + aptx and comfortable
2nd: bass quality without losing the highs/mids
better if: good isolation (active noise cancelling? at this price?)

I read online and people tend to recommend the Jabra Move Wireless, but I didn't find it anywhere to try it before buying. The Bluedio R+ Legend is also well spoken but it looks like a toy to me so I dont want it.

I have up to 100 euros to spend, but I would be happy with a 50 euro one that is almost as good as a 100 option for example. But yes, if the quality justifies, I can pay 100.

Also, I read a lot of good things about the Plantronics BackBeats Pro, which goes for around 150 which seemes like a lot for me, but from the reviews it seems that it is so much better than the others. Is it worth it?

if you could say good sites that I could buy within Europe would be great too (not sure if I can ask this here). Im living in Spain if that matters.

thanks or any help =)

edit. AKG Y45BT maybe?

Larger ears? Some Sony MDR-XB950BT over-ears will give you more comfort and isolation than the AKG Y45BT. 133 euros, but comfort alone is worth it here:

I like bass but I read that the bass boost might be too much... and it seems really big (but also seems pretty comfortable). As it's a Sony I think I can easily find it to try in the stores. Will check out =) and it's beautiful!

Sony also has the 770BT in the same price range, which also features ANC. Worth checking out?

The bass boost on the XB950BT is optional by pressing a button. It is a little large, but it should fold flat for faster storage.

If you can use the ANC, the ZX770BT is another good option that you can find here:

I tested the cheap xb450 and they bass feels good, I like it. Then tried the ZX660 and the ZX330 as well. As the numbers seem to show, and from what I could hear, the 770 should a a little bit better than the 660, which wasn't even close to the xb450... the bass is so much better on the 450, the 660 felt like nothing, and then the 330 felt like silence. and I would say the 950 should be considerably better than the 450 (just by looking the numbers :D). Can't find the XB950 nowhere, and amazon price went up from 133, so I will keep trying to find it to test somewhere while awaiting a new price drop.

The Plantronics BackBeats Pro (150e, usually) is another BT headphone I am interested (yes, i decided i can spend a little bit more), but in some reviews they say 'the bass is great, you can feel it punching' and then on another site 'i was disapointed with the bass' or 'it lacks a strong bass'.argh. and this one I am sure I wont find anywhere to try =(

Try to find a Sony store near you:

You can also find many Hi-Fi places in Spain here, just choose wisely as you will probably have to call them for stuff:

My impressions on the Jabra move a fairly positive and those do tick the boxes on comfort and sound quality (at that price range). Those are bassy headphones, but don't support AptX, though. The isolation isn't too great either (being on-ears after all).

My recommendation would be Philips Fidelio M2BT. Those are comfortable, with great sound (bassy), AptX and NFC. The connection may be a bit iffy and as far as I understand those might be a bit hard to find in the US. But if you do get your hands on those, they are a good buy.

I ended up getting the Plantronics Backbeat Pro.

It doesnt look so good, and its a bit wierd to use it in the metro as its quite big, but the ANC is great (for noises as metro/airplane/bus), the battery lasts forever, the sound is really great (I can hear so much more 'details' in the songs that I've been listening forever, bass is sometimes lacking but in other songs it is superb, probably the 'problem' is in the audio file, not in the headphone itself). Oh, the carrying case is super cool, great material, super safe. Love it in every way. I also use it with cable when at work and the sound is great (i've read that some other BT headphone do not power up well with cables). I use my windows phone to listen music (aptx support) and my gfs phone also has aptx support (asus zenfone) so I didnt try it without aptx to tell the difference, but for my amateur ears the bluetooth connection + aptx sound the same as with a cable directly connected.

highly recommend it, 150 euros worth for sure.
