Hey there, I am new to this whole audiophile-concept im looking for some reasonable priced all in one AMP/DAC solution for my Fidelio x2's.

I am just gonna use them at home for gaming/music.

What i was already looking at is the NuForce uDAC3 for example.

I'd really appreciate if you guys could help me out and tell me what to buy :p

So a small stack like the Schiit Uber Stack is out of the question? It drives the X2 very well. The JDS Labs Element is also a wonderful all-in-one unit.

You going to use this solely via PC so there is no need for a portable setup and USB is OK? The Element is awesome and wonderfully built and I would be sure to check it out.

I don't see a lot of NuForce uDAC3 around and cannot comment on its sound or reliability which is what I personally would shy away from it. I would rather have a ton of positive feedback from a product than just a few market reviews.\

Check out this review;

"The Element" is kind of expensive.
Would i as someone who is new to listenting music in high quality even be able to tell a difference between the JDS Labs and a e10k or  uDAC3?

Yes, probably. Not a huge difference, though. If you had much cheaper headphones I would say you wouldn't be able to tell. The biggest difference will always be in the headphones. The Modi/Magni combo (non-Uber) is $200 and would do wonders. Hopefully that isn't too expensive :)
