It took a while to put the second pad on, as it was very extremely tight!
In fact, they look exactly like what SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THEM STOCK...
:)

Here is a size difference comparison with the new pad on the left, side and the Audio Technica pad on the right, and an Ultrasone pad not being used on left side due to being too smal and not compatible:

The only drawback was the amount of effort/patience to put on..
ALmost impossible to stretch on!

Now, in terms of sound, most all pads tried had varying levels of either U shape, distant sound, or treble peak..

This pad combines the realism of the Audio Technica,
with the bass and more even tonality of the stock pads,
While maintaining a better more larger comfortable over ear type pad.

** Edit**
After more testing,
I found them to be very addictive and lucid  but overall mid- centric, do not optimal..
:frowning2:

I wonder if QC35 pads would be better or if they're the same

Need to measure size.
I ordered one only $7 on fleabay.

If tooQC35 too big, then adapters might work.
The sound should change somewhat..

I do agree with member "DJ The Rocket" ,
Who prefers the smaller around-ears pads to give the best sound and better bass.
He using the PSB M4U 1 pads which cannot be found easily,
So buying from Company would enevitably cost more than a replacement pad.

The Bose are slightly less deep while being a bit wider.
They really seem like bigger sine pads.
The pads are very very soft, with some of pad resting on ear giving a similar strong seal like stock, yet with very little suction like stock pads.

Forgot to state it was eBay.
Just search for "Bose QuietComfort 25" on eBay.
They all same from $6-$9 with color choices.
They were a tight fit that took time to stretch in place***
NO LONGER RECOMMENDED!

That looks great, the pads contour to the shape of Sine better than any M50 sized pads. Let us know if you notice any more differences in the sound signature. Cheers! :)

Edit: I found this on Amazon too: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OCL621Y/ref=twister_B00Q88J5K4?_encoding=UTF8&th=1

Priced a bit too high compared to what you are paying though...

The Bose sound closest to stock.

The vesper should be good.
My vesper sounded better when compressed because the inside "fast foam" was full or stiff.
So you need choose their "memory foam" option which increases thier price to rediculous Audeze pads price levels.

The Vesperaudio shape being same as stock , does not fit your ear as good as the others which are more oval shapes,
so it feels more smaller, but still over ear.

That's why the Vesper has most bass,
and the quality leather is why it has great trebles..

But the Vesperaudio mids are a bit flat or duller compared to the Audio Technica pads.

The Audio Technica pads are the most exciting,
but a bit "U" shaped in signature.

The fake Audio Technica pads had the most mids and great sound, but a bit too thick in lower mids.

I feel these Bose are the most natural mids and more true to stock,
while more details than all but the real Audio Technica,
due to the Bose having a greater seal,
and also a very slight suction similar to the stock pads but less.

The Audio Technica was the best to me until I tried these Bose (QC25).

So these Bose (QC25) is the closest to stock sound,
with benifit of over ear,
and having the energy/realism like the Audio Technica, but with better bass.

There you go.
Not only the Bose are best but also feeling most comfortable as well(!)
The others left my ear possibility to touch inside, not these.
The inside edge keeps that cushion.

It should also be noted,
That All these mentioned in this post,
are STILL the best pads to choose that I tried.

I tried about 5 other pads and they where all very "U" shaped and/or distant.

Are the cheap ones on eBay really the same as the original ones?

Yes! They all same soft artificial "protein leather".

That looks great, the pads contour to the shape of Sine better than any M50 sized pads. Let us know if you notice any more differences in the sound signature. Cheers! :)
