Hi, first time posting, but have been reading for a few weeks so I can make an informed decision.
 
I'm set on the Sennheiser HD 598's as there have been many great reviews for them here and from Envy.  I'm just uncertain as to the amp/dac and if one is even needed.
I had read that the 598 is 50ohm, but the mixamp pro is made to handle 32.  Is this an issue?
 
I'm looking at purchasing the Sennheiser HD 598 and Mixamp Pro for playing games on my PS4 as well as gaming, watching movies and some music on my PC. (I'll be using the onboard audio unless it doesn't sound great and in that case just get a soundcard)
 
Is the above setup viable?  Am I able to easily connect everything to my PS4 and PC without having to switch a bunch of wires around?
 
Is there a better amp/dac I should get?
 
Will I have all the necessary wires needed?
 
As for a mic - Down the road I'll get a mod mic.
 
Sometimes the more I read and research the more questions I have and the more unsure I have of my decision.
