I have a really kind of newb question regarding earbuds. I have Miles Davis Trumpet earbuds (I guess Monster refers to them as "in-ear") that I'd like to get some custom molds made for. My question is - on all these DIY kits, it seems like you press the earbud into the mold itself....how does the mold/gel/whatever they use not get "into" the earpiece/grill and gunk it up? Is it just not a problem? Or should I just (for these) go to a professional place and get them made there? I guess I just don't get how the mold doesn't get pushed into the grill when you're pushing the earpiece through the material. Or maybe it's not an issue at all and it just doesn't happen.
