Hey guys,

I just have some questions regarding the noble k10 iem.

1. How is the bass in terms of impact, for example i like to hear punchy kicks in edm.
2. What is the soundstage like?
3. I mainly listen to pop, ballads, rnb, edm, trance, house. will this iem be suitable?

Thanks

1, good kick but not as insane as the JH Roxanne, responses very well with amping.
2, decently wide with very clear separations.
3, it's perfect.

DrSheep,

Thanks for the reply. I am planning on driving these using the Oppo HA-2 that  i own. What do you of this combination?
Also, how forgiving are they of tracks that may be poorly recorded?
Is 320kbps good enough as i dont own FLACs

Cheers

It should be good.  However, since the HA-2 is base on the Sabre DAC, the pair might end up too bright for you.  Not a big deal really.  I do 320 AAC with my K10 too, so that will be fine.  Poorly recorded tracks are going to suffer, as K10 can shows a lot details, even the bad ones.

Since I'm new to  this stuff, when you say poorly recorded tracks do you mean ones from years ago or do you mean trashy pop lol

I mean bad background noise and artifacts (think vinyl or tape transfers).  Also you might start to hear missing details when the recording's dynamic range hit the ceiling (google the loudness war.)

Thanks man! All in all for what i listen to though, perfect yeah?

Should be, and I think you will really like the K10.  It is very easy to upgrade to balanced too.

It's just a cable change, but of course you need a balanced source.
