Has any of you guys ordered the DX200 from Amazon USA (ProStudio Sound & Music)? Just wondering if I am the only lucky one or if it happened to any of you too: I was about to the place the order when I noticed that instead of the advertised free shipping they added $35 for shipping cost. And that was not for expedited shipping as they don't offer that, but for their "standard shipping".
Considering they are an authorized dealer, ProStudio Sound & Music sure charge a lot extra for ...nothing.
Are you looking at the right listing? Here on Amazon, it's $949 plus Free shipping from ProStudio (their authorized dealer). I check the listing periodically, and never seen them charge for shipping. Maybe there was some mistake or another listing pop up? Either way, the one in the link is with a free shipping.

That's the one. I tried your link and got the same (see picture). The shipping charge doesn't show up until the very last screen...

Oh, I see, so it's not until the last screen of the order. Kind of misleading. Did you try contacting them? Maybe you can order from them directly?

That's what I thought. Haven't tried contacting them, but that's a good idea!

Paul has mentioned the demand is quite high atm, they were hoping to stock DX200 on their site straight after CNY.
He said they will try asap. I would keep checking back over the next week.
k, thanks friend.
I already have DX200.
so, My friend wants to buy it.
by the way, when booted in MANGO PLAYER, display brightness setting cant keep its level.
I think this is a bug.

I use the Z1R with the DX200 and yes it's (imo) a perfect match. Details, depth, soundstage etc. is very very good. Before I used the Mojo but prefer the DX200 100%.
You will hear many members say that Z1R scale with better/bigger amp. I don't know but the DX200 is more than enough for me. And has more than enough power SE.
If you demo the Z1R, prepare to buy it..you can leave the Z1R but you can't forget it .

Yup. Think you missed the post just a few pages ahead on the brightness. It's known and will be fixed by firmware update.
Work-around (if you must) for now is suggested by a fellow head-fi-er here is don't dim it all the way down to 0, just a little before 0 and it will stay.

Anybody know whether the DX200 can be made to work with Google Play Music?
Based on the sound of the wind blowing through the tumbleweed and the earlier post about YouTube not working, I'm going to take that as a no. What a pity
@Paul - iBasso - any plans to allow this capability in the future? Google Play Services?? Google Play Store???

Someone already made a custom FW that adds Google Play. Look for that thread.

A member has Google Play Store running on DX200.

Personally, I won't use the play store as DX200 sounds excellent simply as a music player for me (Android music player). The only reason I brought it up about a week ago was because I was looking for an app to take screenshots, I found an apk for that easily.
