You can play bit perfect with third party app it is very benefit if you think Mango player UI sucks. It creates alternative for you to enjoy with application of your comfort.

Ok. You need to understand this.
If you read english carefully. You will see the bracket after bit perfect (usb audio)
It means that bit perfect is only option when using usb DAC. That doesnt mean android apply for this.
Moreover if you dont activate lurker usb app, you wont hear the clicking noise when changing 44.1khz to 96khz correct?
That means it is not using asynchronus clock properly thus it is not bit perfect. SQ is not same level as stock app.
In addition, you can't play anything through UAPP without Lurker's rom unless you have "Play through Android" selected, in which case you are not playing bit perfect because yes, you're playing through Android.
Using the WindowsX Advanced Purist ROM and Lurker's ROM I've found the best DX200 SQ and bug-free experience in all regards.

well, if is the same.. i prefer mango, actually use mango cuz drain less battery.

Now I'm looking for a new DAP. I have FiiO X5 3rd gen, but I'm interested in the DX200.
Can someone tell me if this is a character DAP or an audiophile 'neutral' DAP. I much prefer 'neutral' signatures from a DAC.
I noticed how some people say the Sony WM1Z is better, but what I want to know is which one of these two is actually neutral and accurate?

They are very close IMO. The Sony 1Z isn't any better but slightly warmer. They both are pretty neutral but depending upon what amp module you use with the DX200 (they are coming out with different amp modules) I would guess you can change the sound some.

Ciche question: does it have the clinical sabre ESS tone and thin sound, or is all the 'body' of the music there in full?
And some users mentioned too little bass in dx200, is that a myth?
And does burn in make a notable difference? In what way?
I need to know these things about dx200 before spending so much
