FLC Technology is one of the earliest companies in China to explore the hybrid balance armature and dynamic driver technology. In 2011, it was the first company to launch a hybrid CIEM. The FLC 8 was the first universial hybrid balance armature and dynamic earphones by FLC technology. Due to FLC Technology's extensive experience in the hybrid technology, the FLC 8S features excellent crossover technology which creates a coherent sound between the dual balanced armature drivers and the dynamic drivers.

FLC 8S recongises that there is no one size fit all sound signature for all users. Hence, it is designed to be highly tuneable so that users can tune it according to their sound preference. While tuneable earphones are not new in the market, the FLC 8S represents the pinnacle of this technology as it allows for 36 variations of sound unlike most tuneable earphones which allows only 3 different sound signatures at most.

The new FLC 8S comes with improved build quality and comes with braided cables as compared to the original FLC 8.

A little birdie told me to pop my head in here.

Welcome, @Armaegis! I think these will be more to your taste than the AD01

Of all of the little in ears I got to hear via @nmatheis these were the most impressive. Easily the most impressive.

Yes, I've got them in the "default" configuration now, which I think is even better than what you heard

if you listen to classical i recommend the green nozzle with the 2 light gray filters.  this combines the flc recommendation for strings and piano [green nozzle and different filters- clear iirc] with a broader range via the gray filters for orchestral.  the green nozzle brings out the treble you need for strings and piano, the light gray filters give you mids and bass which are diminished by the full flc recommendation for strings and piano.

I'd love a chance to join the tour. I was just checking out the FLC8's a couple days ago. Not enough cash yet for those.

I just realized I forgot to mention my location...Oklahoma.

i recommend that anyone trying these read ljokerl's review over at theheadphonelist dot com.

the review gives a good explanation of the tuning system, and thus allows you to find your preferred signature efficiently, as opposed to trying all 36 combinations randomly.

if you decide to get these, i recommend comply tips.  the t-400 series fits and gives both comfort and much improved isolation.
