Hi all,

So... Santa is bringing a FiiO X5ii to replace the DX50. Now I want some IEMs to replace the AKG Y50 on ear headphones.

Due to wife being in charge of the £, I have a Max budget of £140.

I've narrowed it down to a few, but I am open to suggestions. As follows:

Dunu DN-1000
Fidue A73
RHA t10

Music wise, most of my stuff is acoustic, guitar bands to hard rock. A little dance but not enough to base my earphone choice on.

Sound signature wise, I'd like something as wide and deep as possible (which I know is limited by being closed IEMs),plenty of detail, a top end that is sparkling without being overly bright or fatiguing, deep bass that doesn't roll off but isn't fat and bloated or slow, and mids that are there but don't take over. I would guess I'm looking for an ever so slight V shape but not to the detriment of soundstage or detail.

I'd welcome any other suggestions.

Well... I bought the Fidue A73 after reading what little amount there was on the Internet about them and I'm very pleased with them.

I'll write a review shortly.

I would guess part of the reason is the wrong people may have clicked on the thread.  You put "budget" in the title but then wrote a max of £140.  The budget people are buying £15 IEMs.
