Contacted BangGood about not having received my X3.  They had emailed me that it was shipped on the 8th but their site showed the 10th.  This "Priority Direct Mail" turns out to be FedEx Smartpost.... and one of the myriad packages "stuck" in FedEx's Ohio facility missing Christmas delivery to the outrage of parents across the country... argh :frowning2:    Delivery is now scheduled for 30 December. Oh joy :frowning2:

And about this playback slowness, any word from XDuuo about what they're doing to fix it?  Sounds like they missed getting it fixed in v1.1.

are the writings on the back of the X3 printed on it or engraved ? I"m thinking If I'm getting a silver one I could use some acetone to remove them
I wouldn't try acetone. When I received mine there was a tiny scratch on the back panel. The thin silvery layer was scratched off and underneath there's a darker metal. Since the silvery layer is so thin, I don't think it will withstand acetone very well.

I see what about my problem of slow music standard 16 bit \44100 Hz nobody cares ? So know that you have a defective DAP which plays standard red book . There is such an option what is a hardwire problem . Tech support is silent about it and does not fix the problem .
Recommendation not to buy this player , he has a marriage , your favorite cd-rip sound is not as it should . It is audible on high frequencies and on medium frequencies .

You're right it is a serious problem! I certainly hope Xduoo will address this in next FW! It does affect sound quality!  I compared a four minute song, a/b vs. my PC/DAC, and I end up being around 3-4 seconds behind on the X3 + it changes the pitch and thereby sound quality. Up sampling the song to 16/48 helped but not the right thing to do and a hassle.  24/96 and 24/192 albums plays at correct speed.

If I had known this earlier I wouldn't have placed an order.  You say tech support is silent.... this from service@xduoo.com ?
Anyone have contacts with XDuuo to determine what, if anything, is being done.

ARGH :frowning2:  First protracted delivery and now THIS :frowning2:

sorry, but by any means this is a great dap, Sq is superb. Only this problem should be fixed. I don't know if this happens with other sampling rates as well... I don't mind a bit, I'm very happy with this player.

it's a 24bit/192khz player... Throw the right source material to it and be happy. Furthermore we must inform xDuoo about this issue and wait for firmware update

This is a bit more than just myoptic. Your assertion is fallacious.  How many folks have the vast majority of their music in 24/192?   All my CDs are 16/44 FLAC and my vinyl/reel/cassettes are 24/96 FLAC.  I have a few samples of 24/192 material but that's it.    When an OEM advertises their DAP as 24/192 it implicitly means backwards compatible as well. Here they are failing and must remedy things ASAP via a firmware update.

I have 900 CDs are CD-RIP to FLAC 16/44,1 . Mind you the problem as not all are listening to hi RES , I want to hear their music as it should . Now the player sounds slow , and the sound of the singer doesn't sound naturally , high-frequency sounds are not at full strength .There is a difference between 1000 Hz and 990 Hz . Support should resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Ps I suggested that instead of the player put the Rockbox.

Problem was discussed thoroughly in a Russian forum and they had been in contact with Xduoo a while back and the issue was promised to be dealt with in the latest FW but it wasn't!

Of course the X3 should be able to play 16/44 or 24/88/176 correctly!

Hopefully next FW will fix this! Worst case scenario it's a hard ware issue..

I assume that @Farsh is one of the Russian forum members?
