why do some songs on my new monoprice speakers have the singing coming primarily from the left speaker?

i notice this mostly on older songs like the beatles, you hear the singing mostly from the left speaker and on the right speaker has all the background vocals and etc...but on newer songs i can hear the sound evenly on both sides....any ideas?

I'm guess it might be the way songs use to be recorded?
Are you using mp3/FLAC audio files or it it CDs?

FLAC from cd, but even when played on cd its the same...also i didnt get the dac yet cus the buzzing noise i had the other day  went away after i unpluggd the 3.5mm cable and plugged it back in tighter.

I might be if the 3.5mm stereo plug in not all the way in the jack, the right and left audio signal are some how crossing over each other?
Or there might be something defective about the jack or the plug?
