Hi there - I'm new here. This is my first post, so if I'm doing some wrong, do let me know!

I own a Sennheiser R170 - I'm really loving these headphones. Great audio and love that it's wireless.

I also needed a microphone to go with it, so I decided to go with the Modmic 4.0 - which is pretty good as far as I can see (though I'm no expect). However, I would ideally like for the microphone to be wirlessly connected to my PC!
That way, I can attach and detach it to my headphones and not have to worry about wires: having freedom of movement instead of having to detach the microphone before getting up from my chair when I'm speaking to someone.

I was looking into a Bluetooth method, so that way I can connect it to my Laptop directly instead of having to get an external USB dongle or anything like that (though, that's option 2).

Has anyone attempted this sort of thing? Or know of anyone who has done this sort of thing before?

Thanks very much :)

A small update.
I think I found a way to transmit the audio:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Avantree-TC200-Bluetooth-Stereo-Audio-adapter-Transmitter-and-Receiver-2-in-1-/231541910584?hash=item35e8f92c38

Thing is, I am unsure if the PC will interact with the device and treat it as a microphone.
