I couldn't find much information about this so thought I'd ask here

I don't actually have the AD700x's, but the
ATH-ADG1 which is basically the AD700x's with different looks and an attached mic.

I am looking at replacing the pads and after some research came to the conclusion that the Brainwavz HM5 Velor are some of the best pads out there and that they SHOULD(?) fit my headphones, but this is what need be absolutely sure about before I bother ordering them.

I was also looking at the HIFIMAN Velour pads, they looked decent and I know they will fit but they just don't look as high quality/comfortable as the HM5's.

Looking for recommendations/opinions on what to do here.

I own the Brainwavz HM5 and the ATH-A900X.
I bought the Hifiman ear pads for the A900X, took a little work, but was finally able to get the Hifiman pads on.
I would assume the AD700X and A900X come from the factory with the same size ear pads
I thought the Hifiman pads were comfortable and ended up wearing the A900X a lot.
Never liked wearing the HM5.
