An update and a need for a recommandation. The Kef are swaped for Translator speakers (Dutch and professionally restored) which i really like. Still love the dac, I can't live without it anymore. The HK amp is going to my garage and a gainclone poweramp will take its place. That project will be finished in the end of the summer.
The question is... the preamp: the uber of the vali. I dont have the opportunity to listen to them. But ik like the design and i trust schiit. I listen to guitar based music. From Howling Wolf to Sonic Youth, and from RATM to Tom Waits. I love my Grado's. So whats the best match magni 2 uber or vali 2 tube? The price difference is like 10 euro's...
