Hello.

What do you like for small buds that cost almost nothing? When I run power tools and lawnmowers I try to put my Sansa Clip buds in and then industrial ear muffs over them but the Sansa buds have long legs that lever the buds out when the muffs come on.

Mostly podcasts, no bass boost please.

Perhaps this list would help: http://theheadphonelist.com/headphone-list/. Each make/model name leads to a review. Probably want to find some with a deep insertion depth. At least that's my guess

shure se215 is really great for isolation and bass.

its $99 retail but if you look hard, you might find 1 cheap for <$70 which is just excellent for its value.
