Cable Burn In with regard to Audio Directionality.

Didn't you read the new rule? No sarcasm in Sound Science without a neon sign smiley. I'm afraid I'm going to have to write you up.

Uh oh! BUT, if it is my firmly held belief based on the following-which relates tangentially-and incompletely!

I don't actually need to define terms since it is a mathematical expression of my BELIEFS!
Note: I did well in my Quantum Mechanics for Chemists course-which used differential calculus-so if I squint and work at it-I might ACTUALLY be able to grasp this. But as it is-it's a BELIEF.

I love that one! And it applies to my excerpt. I don't think I insulted anyone, except maybe purveyors of square cables with "this end up" markings! I was also inspired by a company selling audiophile fuses claiming they were "Quantum treated"

There's absolutely nothing that's too absurd for "high end" audio.

I think the impracticality of implementing my farcical cable concept will keep the Snake Oil types from trying it. I hope! A non-member engineer friend of mine-who was scowled at when he attended an audiophile meeting (when asked what cables he used-he said Romex 14 gauge) suggested I take  this idea and bandy it about on Audiophile forums. I think that would be a BAD idea. Here most can SEE it is farcical.
As a side benefit, I did a little reading on Ohm, Pauli, Maxwell, and Dirac- amazing work, I can grasp just enough to appreciate their genius.

So what kind of snake oil is this;

$525.00

"The Hard-Cell Foam insulation is exclusive to Audioquest and is used in most of its video and digital audio cables. The insulation material is injected with nitrogen to create air pockets. As air does not absorb any energy, the noise induced by the insulating layer is next to zero. The stiffness of this hard foam ensures that the relationship between the conductors is maintained throughout the length of the cable, resulting in consistent characteristic impedance."

yeah, ok!!

For your Sunday pleasure here is another;

$425.00

"Coffee HDMI efficiently utilizes air-filled Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation as the air absorbs zero percent energy and Polyethylene enables low-loss and also comprises of a benign distortion profile, which enables much less of the out-of-focus effect as compared to the other materials used."

A benign distortion profile - sweet.

Ironically, HDMI interfaces are inherently nonlinear and work better the more nonlinear they are.

Your distortion profile can never be too benign. I guess it keeps those on off binary signals from being stretched and distorted. Without that eventually the music plays backwards and demons are summoned!
So what's cheaper? A $500 cable or a full excorcism assuming you can find an exorcist in time? I think I can make up better nonsense than this! What kind of amateur snake oil auteur came up with this? The cables look cool and the green LED shows you the magic is working-but the handwaving is really of poor quality.

Evidently the insulation can have uneven charge density-which can slow down parts of the music signal.! I only read this AFTER making my comments about the music playing backwards! I still think the best solution would be to rotate the speaker wire at 2000 RPM opposite to the flux of the Earth's magnetic field-but then I am not an esoteric wire designer.  The real solution-taken from Audioquest-I did NOT make the following up! " All insulation slows down the signal on the conductor inside. When insulation is unbiased, it slows down parts of the signal differently, a big problem for very time-sensitive multi-octave audio. AudioQuest’s DBS creates a strong, stable electrostatic field which saturates and polarizes (organizes) the molecules of the insulation. This minimizes both energy storage in the insulation and the multiple nonlinear time-delays that occur. Sound appears from a surprisingly black background with unexpected detail and dynamic contrast. The DBS battery packs will last for years. A test button and LED allow for the occasional battery check."
Yes-the insulation needs organization!
