FiiO X5 II Custom Themes Thread

Hi Relic,
Is it posible that the H.U.D. theme doesn't display cover art (it doesn't on my player)? Am I doing something wrong? I really like the theme though.

Oh, right. For that theme on the original X5 I covered up all album art to keep in line with the rest of the theme. I guess I transferred that version to the X5ii. I'll get an album art version up when I get some time.

Do any of the custom themes have bigger font sizes for track/artist name, track numbering, time remaining, etc.? That's my biggest problem with the X5SG... 80% of the screen is inexplicably left unused while the information I really want to know is rendered only a few pixels high.

There is no font size adjustment in the custom FW tools. You could possibly find a font that's larger by default and replace the existing font. Also, you could capitalize the words in the FW making them slightly easier to read.

Hey gents - I've been searching in vain, but has anyone done a theme for the X3II? I picked one up for my dad and between the smaller screen and lesser brightness it's a little hard for him to read. Just wondering....

Just updated my new X5ii to RELIC's theme package - amazing man - thanks so much for the work you put into these.  Didn't think I could love this player more - I was wrong!

Relic and Asianinvasion, we know that the work you put in to make these themes is not to pay the bills but to share with the rest of us to make our experience with these devices better than they were out of the box. I fixed the H_U_D theme to display cover art now. I just overwrote the old version so if you re-download and install you'll get cover art. Link in the second post of the thread.

Just a fair warning before use:

1. This hasn't been tested
2. This could potentially turn your brand-new X5II into a paperweight
3. There is a 99.99999% 25% chance there will be a lot of graphical glitches
4. For that matter, I don't even know if the firmware tools created the firmware correctly. It seems that the firmware packed fine.

I am currently porting four other themes in addition to Harmony over from the X5 to the X5II as a "themes collection"; it will be released updated to 1.1.

Thanks for the Themes, they look great thanks. 
 
I've noticed a bug in Theme 1 - The number doesn't show in the little box while changing the volume - nothing major and I'm sure easy to fix.
 
Is there a way to get full screen album art also while using the first theme?
