It has been about 31 years since another team was able to beat Celtic and Rangers to win the scottish league...lol. It was Aberdeen in 1985. I think the reason for this dominance of 2 clubs only, is mostly down to Scotland being a small country. Most of the population either supports Celtic or Rangers. Therefore the smaller clubs don't tend to attract very wealthy owners. Henrik was truly a gift from God for Celtic. He was definitely up there with other legends of his era...he reminded me a little of Thierry Henry. Where have all these legends gone now :frowning2: it seems football doesn't have as many as it used to.

I saw Henrik Larsson in a veterans match a couple of years ago - he seemed as deadly a striker as ever. Fit as a butcher's dog, too.

He substituted as a player when he was coaching some games. He was also playing floorball on high levels. Will be interesting if Jordan can pick up where he left off :)

Yep, I went to a Celtic v Man United legends match a few years ago and not only did Henrik last longer than some other players younger than him (some who are still playing full-time) but he scored a hat-trick and got an assist.

City certainly dominated the first half of the game but didn't have it all their own way in the second. Serious doubts about Bravo in goal - he spilled several catches and how his two footed lunge on Rooney wasn't a pen only the ref knows. Hard to be critical of Pep, but I think he's made a mistake packing Hart off to replace him with this guy - he's clearly a notch below. City's loss will be Torino's gain. Still think City have to be title favourites though; they played some sublime stuff at times, particularly in the first half. Glad Zlatan chipped in with a goal from the point of view of my fantasy team

Catastrophic defending cost West Ham - embarrassing mix up for Watford's second. Still an excellent finish from Troy Deeney to curl it into the top corner though.

Leicester still seem to have a post-champions hangover, though Liverpool were brilliant going forward. Still think they look flaky at the back, although they weren't really tested. Lucas's 'assist' has to go down as blunder of the day. You know you're light at the back when you're playing Lucas in the back four...

Matip looks phenomenal thus far since his debut vs Tottenham.

Time they offloaded Lucas though, surely? That back pass yesterday was criminal!

I guess he is a decent utility player, other than that debacle, he was quite good for the rest of the game.... I couldn't believe what had happened at first
