It has been about 31 years since another team was able to beat Celtic and Rangers to win the scottish league...lol. It was Aberdeen in 1985. I think the reason for this dominance of 2 clubs only, is mostly down to Scotland being a small country. Most of the population either supports Celtic or Rangers. Therefore the smaller clubs don't tend to attract very wealthy owners. Henrik was truly a gift from God for Celtic. He was definitely up there with other legends of his era...he reminded me a little of Thierry Henry. Where have all these legends gone now it seems football doesn't have as many as it used to.
I saw Henrik Larsson in a veterans match a couple of years ago - he seemed as deadly a striker as ever. Fit as a butcher's dog, too.
