Just downloaded mines. We just bout have the same combo set beside headphone cables. I was like wow, What a huge difference IN SQ much more puncher. Now haven't said that I went back in for to the pro EQ and having the EQ off . I can't figure out what I like better or if they both sound smilar. The Pro EQ on has a tad bit more kick with our PM-1 but once I shut the EQ off sometimes to me seems like the bass is heaver and and a little bit fuller but not by much. What do you think. Trust me dont get me wrong EQ off or Pro EQ on is a big difference then before.

I don't think the technology exists yet for a 1TB micro-sd. Also the fact that the seller is brand new on eBay with only 3 ratings makes me doubt it even more.

If this was real, we would have read about it on Engadget or Gizmodo

These guys make profit from the percentage of people who don`t know or don`t bother to complain and demand a refund, for example people who buy the card as a gift for someone else and then never hear that it`s actually a fake.  After their negative reviews start to mount, they simply open another account with a different name.  
 
Keep us informed.  How many gigs are you at?  32gb micro SD cards are super cheap in Asia; anything over 64gb and I`ll be interested.  Over 128 I`ll be impressed. If you can put anything more than 200gb on it, you should notify the media.

I think AK has hit the sweet spot with this update. 
 
Having listened on FW1.19 for 6 hours straight coming back from Singapore last night, I had good memory retention of the albums I played. And the differences immediately noticeable are:-
 
The FW1.23 sounds so natural, sweet and lush.
There's more detail both macro and micro.
Immediacy, transients and attack is far improved.
Better note weight and the sense of solidity in the bass.
Vocals are portrayed beautifully with phrasing, intonation and inflections all improved.
 
Wow, really quite a leap in performance!! Very unexpected...

Regarding the new firmware update, I do not notice any significant SQ difference and there's no official mention of any modifications made to sound. Functionality wise I will have to use it further before commenting. I include below all the Firmware Update Information from the very beginning to this point in time below, just for reference:

I am also skeptical about the 1TB micro SD card, since SanDisk came out with the 200GB SDXC card in MWC 2015 one year ago there hasn't been any card with bigger storage.
 
At this year's MWC SanDisk didn't up the storage (even though I think the technology exists and it is certainly doable, but it would be incredibly expensive and the market for it would be too small to justify mass production yet), but instead came up with USB Type-C Flash Drives and the Extreme Pro SDXC with transfer speeds of up to 275MB per second. But none of these latest offerings exceed 128GB, so I would assume the highest 'officially recognised' micro SD card is still 200GB and not more, correct me if I'm wrong. Let us know how it goes past the point of 200GB.
 
Call my cynical but the price is simply too good to be true, I would always suspect something is fishy and this may only be verified after some middle to long-term usage or some rigorous testing. I would hate discover the 1TB card to be defective later on and thus have to transfer huge amount of music again to a 'genuine' card later, frustrating to say the least.
 
Still waiting for AK4xx with 512GB internal storage. Here's to hope and that it won't cost more than a Tesla Model 3.

interested to see how much data you can out on that 1TB card.....i am guessing (but hope not for you) that it will max out way before you get to current 200gb limit offered by the big companies!  good luck though :)

mmm.....re: storage for the AKs, I'm done with no-name, generic, large capacity sd cards. I had 3 of 'em failed within weeks, including a 256 GB card. Authentic, doubtful. Cheap, yes. Durable, heck no.

 Now I'm curious how regular AK380 compares to Cu under 1.23.
 
Re 1TB micro SD card, it's like someone selling you plane ticket to Mars - anyone who pays attention to technology news would know it's nothing but scam at this stage. A lot fake SD cards got 8GB capacity btw.

1TB (1000GB +) micro SD memory card       put that description in ebay search engine and you will find it. it is on auction now by another seller, but my seller sold the last 3 remainder.

I'd love to know how they achieve the SQ you get using Pro EQ.  I've tried to duplicate it a few times and can't come anywhere close to the Pro SQ.  Maybe it's not a true EQ setting, but somehow boosted on the board.

While you're advocating, I'd like to ask if it's possible to do something to increase battery life.  Maybe mine isn't typical, but I generally get to listen to 5 or 6 albums before the battery warning comes.  Is this typical?  I haven't timed it, but my guess that about 4 hours is what I'm getting.

 when i use my adel u12, with eq on using pro eq, and eq off its difficult to really know for me which is better, but once i dial in my own eq man this ak380 can pump out so much bass which satisfies my basshead desire. But I mainly use pro eq now and its gives all I want from bass to mids to treble
 
I did not test sq changes with my oppo pm1, as I decided to use my ak380 and amp just with my u12 which is simply amazing, honestly I can not listen to anything else now besides using the u12 
 
but i will give it a try and see how those changes in this firmware applies to oppo pm1 
 
but i am really digging what i am hearing with or without eq

i even feel that i am listening now at lower volume using my ak380 + amp before i used to listen at 89 now at 83 using my u12 in high gain

the eq implementation has been really improved

BA iems are usually easier to drive.
