Any idea when the ALO Rx will be restocked (and black color options available)? Hope I'd be able to pick one up soon.

Refault,

Sorry for the sold out-ness of the Rx. We are building the black Rx's now and should have them up on 1 - 2 weeks. I apologize for this situation and thank everyone for their patience.

Been very pleased with it with my X1.  Excellent volume precision, and beautiful sound.

Just purchased from the forums last night an RWAK100-S to serve as the source so real excited about that.

You're going to be very happy with that combo. The Rx is wonderful and will be an excellent pair with the RWAK.

Thanks.  I saw it in the FS forum and thought it was going to be perfect.  I only use my IEMs with my portable setup, and have no issues with using a stack.

strange question but would this work with a clip+ ??? yes. I know that a clip isn't a super dap. I'm just new with amps.

The two actually work quite well together. I used a Clip+ as one of the sources while testing the ALO Rx. Slap a band around the Rx and the Clip+ can attach to the amp with ease; it makes for a very nice small, portable setup.

woah... the only question left is how will it make my dunu dn2000 sound.

so will it bypass the amp of othersources? I have my sgs4 and Xuelin 770 as my daps

If you want to bypass the built in amps you'll need a source with a dedicated line-out. Both the SGS4 and Clip+ have a single headphone out and while the 770 has dual headphone outputs neither are dedicated line-outs; you'll be double amping with all of the sources you've mentioned. That said, I had good results double amping the Rx with a Clip+ of my own and an iPhone 6. I was very impressed with the Rx and it handled every source I threw at it.

Unfortunately I don't have any experience with the DN2000 but the Rx paired incredibly well with my quad-BA CIEMs and both single and dual driver dynamic IEMs. I don't think it will have any issues driving a hybrid design like the DN2000.
