Hey there!
This is my first post in this forum so I apologize if it´s in the wrong place.
A little introduction:
I´m from Austria in Europe and more or less new to the whole Audiophile world.
I always enjoyed listening to music on my fathers Linn stereo and got into the headphone world after I purchased a pair of AKG K240 MKIIs.
Now recently I was listening to a friends pair of HD650s and had this "Aha" effect.
So I had to buy myself a pair of new headphones.
After listening to many different cans I finally got myself the AKG K702s.
Mainly because I really enjoyed the sound and I live about 10 minutes from the AKG headquarters in Vienna
English isn´t my mother tongue so please ignore the mistakes I make.
But enough about me.
I wanted to see where to get the best price for the AKG K712s and stumbled across this offer on alibaba --> Link deleted
I already bought some stuff from over there but never actually bought a real brand.
The seller told me that the price per unit was 200$ and if you take two, you get one extra for free, resulting in a price of 133$ per unit.
So my questions are:
Is this legal and more important: is this legit.
Do you think this could be the real headphone?
Has anyone of you ever bought a headphone from there?
AKG claims that the K712 is "made in Austria" but this could mean, that it only is assembled in there or anything like this.
There probably is a loophole that would allow that.
The K7XX is also made in China, so I guess they have the plans how to produce one.
What do you think about this?
