The pm3's do seal tightly but I wouldn't have thought it would be tight enough to form a vacuum maybe you have a bad connection on the right side of the headphone have you tried reversing the connections to see if the problem swaps sides.

If it's not the cable then the problem sounds like it is inside the rh ear cup,I think it is probably time to contact where you bought them from(if they are new) or contact Oppo directly.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Im really thinking of getting this but the Inside Diameter has me worried that they will not fit comfortably. I measured my ear at work yesterday and it was about 65mm and if i remember right the I.D. of the Oppo is 60mm. Is anyone having comfort issues with the cups being shallow and or small?

Not me personally, but yes, there have been some who have reported here that they find the ear cups a little small and that they rub against the outside of their ears.

They're actually only 57mm. They are pretty comfy after the pads break in and soften which took about a week for me. They do get really uncomfortable after awhile if your ears are average sized (64mm). For portable use, not wearing them for a long time, they would be pretty comfortable. If you're going to wear them for long periods of time then you're definitely going to notice them after a few hours.

lol I should have taken better notes. I asked four vendors about time table (Oppo on their colored models, iFi Audio on their pro line-up, Cavalli on their portable, and V-Moda on the Revolver). The only dates I have written down is November-ish and April-ish and 2016ish. I can't recall what answers those estimates went with! =S

I know V-Moda Revolver is aiming for next year, no solid date set yet (2016ish).
Cavalli Carbon tentatively shipping in November, portable next year (probably didn't write this down since I already knew that date).
I think that April-ish was iFi's answer on their Pro desktop line-up.

So Oppo's colored variants I think aiming for november-october-ish.

If I'm incorrect, please correct me. btw, some pixs of the colored version. Was planning on getting one for my bro.

apologies to random person if you didn't want to be photographed. looked like you were enjoying the music too much. if this picture has you in it and you want it taken down, just PM me.

Keep in mind that the pads of the PM-3 overhang the drivers.

There's a recessed space that allows the top and back of each ear to actually slip under the pads.
