Greetings Head-fi!

It looks like NarMoo is back with another dual driver! Unlike with the R1M and S1, NarMoo is taking a more balanced approach with the "M-Series"; at least that's what their website says.

I am glad to see they are including not only wide bore tips this time around, but are also adding a dual flange option. The addition of coloured rings around the housing to easily tell left/right apart is fantastic. I found the markings on the R1M wore off quickly (although remembering the side the mic was on made this a minor issue), and the S1 was a bit too ambiguous with only a small L/R on the back (which the M-Series still has). The mic supports both Android and iPhone, allowing you to select your device via  little switch. A thoughtful touch oft-overlooked by many other brands.

Some specs from the site:

Woofer: 10mm,6u
Tweeter: 6mm,6u
Sensitivity: 103 ± 3dB /1mW (S.P.L at 1KHz)
Impedance: 10Ω ±15%
Frequency Range: 10Hz-20kHz
Rated Power: 5mw; Max. Power: 20mw
Cable: 1.2m, flat black PU cable
Plug: 3.5mm, gold-plated, 3 poles
S/M/L silicone eartips, double flange tips, black

Given my love for the R1M and S1, I can't wait to get these in my ears!

Sorry for the weird spacing. I had a ton of issues making this post...took four tries. Comp crashed and I lost the first version, second try my profile logged out, third time I hit backspace, and finally...what you see above. If I edit it the spacing will go even further out of whack

Missed this one! They look nice esp. the W1M.

Post looks fine, btw. Probably the images, I'm guessing, are the problem causer :)

Glad its okay then :p

I'm not sure when they were released but it had to be recent. I check their site pretty consistently. It looks to me like NarMoo addressed most of the nitpicks ppl had with the S1 with these; hard to determine channels, no mic, sub par eartips, and excess bass. The knurling is sure to still bother some I bet (although is looks to be less prominent).

Of course those last two points require actually having the product in hand to determine, I have faith in NarMoo. My experiences with their staff and products have been great, and I doubt these will change that.

I really like Narmoo S1, one of favorite IEM ever, regardless the price

Saw those new models last week. And today got discount coupon for it:
Coupon Code: NM1502 Valid Period: Now to 2/28/2015 Discount Rate: 30% Free Shipping on order over $75 for US customers (based on your shipping address)

According to Eric from Narmoo, in short, the difference between the two models in comparison to Narmoo S1:
"B2Ms have more bass than S1 and W1Ms have less bass which make the sound more balanced."

Really interested to test those

Update: Just placed an order for the W1M

The S1 are a fantastic IEM indeed. Messaged Eric as soon as I saw they were released to find out more, and instead have some review copies on the way. This'll be my first time reviewing something I've been sent by a company. Should be interesting.  I'm really excited to check out all the little improvements made to the new models. Woohoo!

These have been on my buy-list for a couple weeks now, I think I'm gonna push them up the list.

That is the simple answer from Narmoo when I asked them the differences of the 2 new models compared to S1. Some commented S1 too bassy for them, so W1M could probably the better option. I like S1 as it is, and also agree that it is rather bassy.

Mine just ordered yesterday, will take a few weeks to arrive to Singapore, so I haven't tested them myself.

Things are going to get tough come Monday or Tuesday. Apparently my Massdrop Titan 1s and NarMoos are due to arrive pretty much at the same time.... :D

To prepare, I had my gf hide all of my other iems and headphones today, and I've been using a pair of "vintage" Canada 3000 headphones (Google em :p). These actually aren't that bad, minus the pitter patter of noise attempting to substitute for bass.

Seems Canada Post may have lost both Narmoos and the Massdrop Titan 1 that were to be delivered..........blargh....!!!

*whew* NarMoos are here. Titan 1 are fine too. I called Customer Service before freaking out too much...apparently they pre-scanned both packages before delivery (5 hrs before...). Never had that experience before, and hopefully it doesn't happen again. Since the Titan's box was too big to fit in my mailbox, I have to go pick them up tomorrow. Better than not at all.
