Hello guys,

I am looking for a pair of headphones that can do everything. My main requirements are:

- Open or Semi-open
- Over ear
- Suitable for Gaming, Movies. Lower priority for music, since I have a separate headphones for this. Still, I want to use them for music as well, while gaming for example (this is why, I am focused on all rounder models)

- I value comfort since I am spending hours of using headphones and I would rather have something comfortable.

Currently, I have Plantronics GameCom 780 and Harman Kardon NC. I love the feel of the first since they are very light and easy to use + they have an attached mic. I can wear them all day without really feeling any fatigue. They are aso 7.1 (dont lough, I know) and provide a nice surround.  Recently, their plastics on the sides started to break so I am looking for a replacement of my main day-to-day headset. On the other hand, I use the Harman Kardon pair when I need to be left alone or when I want to enjoy music in peace.

Depending on what you feel are good recommendations, I want to end up with a pair of headphones, mic (or a headset), and amp/dac if needed.

My budget is max USD 300 / GBP 200 / EUR 250 and I don't have to spend it all.

Thank you in advance for your contribution.

What kind of DAC should I look after and are there any cheaper options for the headphones that you could recommend?

I don't do my serious listening by way of a computer, so I'm not the person to help with the DAC selection.

The Sony is the only can I know of that fits your requirements and falls within your budget (based on US/Amazon pricing).
