and this:

I can't remove the battery at the moment because I don't have a screwdriver that fits the screw. I'll probably try to find one tomorrow.

Sorry, I don't have the knowledge nor equipment to do this. :D

Did you managed to get your x2 back to live?

One of my kids put the sd card under the sd slot and it is now stuck inside the player. The X2 plays fine, but was wondering once I got the back off the x2, how hard it would be to retrieve the card?

Press the card inside. It should pop out.

Tried resetting and charging at the same time?
Maybe the battery is dead and it doesn't charge correctly because it's frozen.
Other options, open, disconnect battery, press power on and reset a few times. Connect battery and do the same.

Tried all these. Still the same.

It is not in the card slot, it was put in the space under the slot and is now somewhere in the player.

Take 2 thumb tacks or safety pins, grab from either sides using those....you shd know to grab equally or one side first and then the other, depending on the depth inserted.

Unfortunately the card is all the way inside the player, I cannot see it. That is why I was wondering if I got the cover off whether it would be easy to retrieve the card or not. The player still works with cards inserted in the slot, I just would be interested in getting the other card out.

I see, but opening the 4 screws in the back and reaching the innards is not so complicated once you open it....don't miss the screws tho.

edit=> hope its not wandering inside when you move/shake the X2?

I cannot hear anything when I shake the player: ) I will have to take it to a jewelry store, I cannot find anything small enough to remove those screws.

that's good, in a way.....looks like it sits firmly between the back panel and mSD slot metal thingy?

getting a small screw-driver toolkit from dollar shop will do.

A Golden x2 with 3 micro sd slots?
Hope there is no file limit, otherwise 3 slots are almost useless.

They said, just only 1 slot can be detected, the another is only for holder
