I just sent mail to them, suggesting these changes as well as some more. 

EDIT : They said in reply that they'll try to implement this feature.

Yep, i've also emailed them about adding folder shuffle, replay gain and gapless playback if possible.
Would be awesome to see these features implemented. It's a great piece of hardware nonetheless.

Oh yeah, replay gain is something that I've been longing for. I don't think though that it'll be possible to implement that feature in simplistic player like X2. If I'm correct the player doesn't even have ability to read mp3 tags. Let alone replay gain info...

Just got mine today, got it via Aliexpress and it took nearly 4 weeks to get here. I really needed a new portable audio player after my Creative zen died and didn't mind upgrading it a bit along the way. I was somewhat confused when I found out that there wasn't a shuffle all function but I'm glad that this function can be expected soon (I also don't mind to repeat some music with this audio quality). Anyway, I was wondering what changed since the X2 first came out and if people would have some usefull tips for a new user. All little tricks, tips tweaks and what not are welcome, many thanks in advance.

Good for you. I ordered one from Aliexpress and it's been 1 month as well but still don't have it.

Hold menu button for a moment while charging. It'll return to the playing screen and you'll be able to listen to songs.

Finally my X2 arrived, but I'm having trouble getting it to accept the card. It is a 64GB Apacer not 32GB but I've seen people comment that 64GB works fine. When I turn on the device I see three messages "Initialising", "Empty Card!" & "Card is pulled". and then it just shuts down.
 
I use Linux Mint 14.04 and have formatted the card to Fat32. Should it be Fat16 perhaps?

Heck. I get caught with this just about every time. Can this player be updated using Linux? I can't get it to run in wine and I don't use Windows. What ever happened to simple drag and drop firmware?
