I hope that someone can help me. I’m looking for headphones with similar comfort to Denon AHD1100. I have a large head with big ears. The headphones that are very comfortable are the Denon AHD 1100. I like my Denon’s however I would like something more durable with a removable cable.
The only other headphones that are comfortable are the Bose Sound True around Ear. I do not like how they sound and I believe that they are too much anyway for what you get.

Hd558/598 are comfortable and have removable cable, but sound signature will be different from the D1100. The D1100 are more bass heavy and less balanced.
