Amp & Yamaha Silent Cinema | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

I have a Yamaha reciever (RXV 475 pretty sure, bought it new last year). If I attached a headphone amp to the headphone jack for hard to drive headphones will that affect the Silent Cinema surround mix or just boost the signal for hard to drive phones?

I would think that it would just boost the signal to a more preferred volume, by the time it is going to the headphone out, it should be all done with the processing.
