Hahaha I bet they are still gonna be bad. In the world of audio. You get what you pay for. Most of the time that is. You know what? I'm gonna compare the hd ones to the hifiman he 400s. It's going to be a fun easy to decide comparison. Still I wanna shame the ones :p

Can someone provide a link if HD Ones are actually knock offs? If I can get the same quality for a lower price, I'm all for it.
 
Either my left ear has gone bad or my current pair has a slight issue :frowning2:

I don't know the search terms to go specifically to the headphones in question. I've seen them while browsing headphones in general on Aliexpress, and yes they were super cheap. There is pages and pages of headphones on there. Mostly different sellers selling the same crap, so you see tons of the same **** over and over.
 
I also saw what looked like rebranded Status Audio headphones on Amazon as well. Those were close to the price of Status Audio HPs though.
 
Actually one headphone I see a lot on Aliexpress that catches my eye is the Marshall Major headphones. They are going for super cheap and they are all over the headphone section. They are a good looking headphone IMO, but the cheap plastic hinges are a major issue with those. No pun intended.

I guess it didn't take very long to find headphones that have the Status Audio look. A lot of them are bluetooth as well.

As I side note, if I was looking for something cheap, smaller, and decent quality on Aliexpress, I would try the Takstar HD2000. Not the nicest looking headphone in the world, but I bet it's audio quality would be pretty good for the price.

I'd be surprised if those sound good. Marshall Major's are well known headphones. When you have well known headphones sold on a chinese website for 10% of the original price...Obvious fakes.
